About Us

At 6-Nine-8 Candles & Things, every scent tells a story — our family’s story. The name comes from the birth months of our children, in order from oldest to youngest: June (22), September (9), and August (10). Each number is a symbol of love, light, and the beautiful chaos of family life.

Our candle collection is inspired by the 12 months of the year, with each fragrance designed to capture the essence of that season — from the cozy warmth of January to the fresh blooms of May and the golden glow of October.

We invite you to find the scent that speaks to your month, your mood, or your moment.

Candle Tribe Feedback

  • “Smells like a whole mood”

These candles hit different. The scent fills the room without being overwhelming and the jars are so gorgeous I use them as decor even after the candle is done. You can tell they’re made with love.

    – Jasmine B.

  • “Instant vibe setter”

Lit my Midnight Zen while getting ready for bed and I swear my spirit immediately unclenched. Relaxation in a jar.

    – Mariah K.

  • “Love the craftsmanship”

The concrete vessels are stunning. They feel high-end and unique. You don’t find this quality in store candles at all.

    – Taylor S.

  • “My new candle plug”

These candles are officially the only ones I buy now. The Blackberry Incense scent is my obsession.

    – Rachel L.
